My car has been at an approved BMW repair center for 2 and a half months now due to delays from the insurance (not BMW's fault) and then the strike. After the strike was over it has been a month since and I still don't have my car. They discovered on Monday that they need a part for my car which was supposed to be here on Thursday (yesterday). They then phoned to say there is another delay and that the part will only arrive 7th of November and then it still needs to be fitted. I have spent money on a rental but I had to give it back because I'm not willing to fork out any more money as I still have R3000 excess to pay.
I phoned yesterday to ask for a courtesy car and they said that they don't have any but they will see what they can do. They said that they will phone me today but they never phoned, so I had to phone them. They again said that they will phone me and let me know what they can do but once again they never phoned I had to phone them, they then said they can help with a courtesy car next week but can't give a date. But they will speak to the person who dealt with my call the previous time to find out when. Once again they haven't phoned me back, so I'm still stuck
