Took my 2005 VW passat 1.9 TDI for a service there on friday morning 7:30 like they said when I made the booking. When i finally got the car back at 16:10 there was a couple of faults/jobs that they did not do because they "don't have the time" to do it like check the airbag warning light or check the transmission fluid level. But the tell me that my transmission hums but they cant check the oil level. The last time I had the car in for a service I asked them to check the lights for me but they did not have the time and that i should bring the car again and they will do it free of charge. but i had to pay for it this time. My air cleaner has not been changed or even cleaned in 47000 km. Not even the air cleaner housing has ever been cleaned. It looks like a bird made a nest inside the housing. If the are not doing the simple basics when servicing a vehicle, how can we trust them to do anything else like replace the engine oil and filter?
