During March 2013 I encountered a "check engine" light coming on in my car.
This was intermittent but mainly when the engine was cold, either first thing in the morning or in the afternoon when leaving the office. I took the car to the Alfa agent, CMH in Strubens Valley. This was on a Friday afternoon. They put it on a computer diagnosis but found nothing. I booked the car in for the Tuesday for a full check. They found nothing and said I should monitor but would, in the meantime, order a part.
After 2 weeks I found that the part was NOT ordered because it was expensive, even though I am on a maintenance plan.
I took the car in again for another check and still the fault was not rectified.
Last week I was called to say the part was on order and I would be contacted to bring the car in on Thursday (30/5) or Friday (31/5) to have the part replaced.
No call received. I called the dealer on 3/6 a number of times and, as usual, no one was available or called me back.
I am sick of the attitude of Alfa when it comes to servicing a client as this is not the first incident I have had with Alfa and received the same lack of service or caring.
