I recently purchased a set of Maxtrac coilovers for a honda civic 96-00
model which was delivered around last week some time.
I then had them fitted to the car without any trouble but did not set the
height as I needed to feel the drive and clearance of the car with the coil
turned almost all the way up.
To my surprise when I had the car sent to get the coil turned down in order
to have the car dropped, no one was able to do this as it appears that the
o-ring has now seized on the coil not allowing it to be turned up or down,
The entire shock was removed off the car to test and see if it could be
turned down without any pressure being put on the suspension but made no
difference at all.
To me this is completely unacceptable as its a new set of coilovers that
I've spent quite a bit of money of for something that I cannot make any use
of I am very disappointed and would like to know what the procedure is going
forward, as to my understanding any coil over kit comes with a adjustable
height that requires the use of a c spanner in order to do so.
This is not the case and would like to know what's going to be done about
the situation that i'm in at the moment.
