My 2013 Chrysler Grand Voyager CRD LTD started showing an engine light two weeks ago and I referred it to the supplier who immediately cleared it after cleaning the diesel filter and advised I should return it should it show again. It reappeared within 24 hours and I once more called and left a message for the service desk which was never returned. I decided to drive there. No apology for a message not returned and I was told the car must be booked in to which I advised it is my daily car and request Chrysler to make an arrangement for a courtesy car and my plea was immediately referred to the service manager who was also at the front desk at that point in time. He told me they do not have cars available but expecting one the following day. He asked me questions about the condition including if the vehicle drives well and I confirmed to which he responded there is than no damage and I can still drive but they will call me the following day to make further arrangements which has still not happened. We are all unfortunately not clear about the extent of the damage whilst driving but the light can only mean a fault. I do not think this is acceptable on a car worth in excess of R500k.
