Aspiring Logistics Group (art)
No service and deny, deny and deny responsibility

I bought a painting for my brother's 40th birthday from an artist in Cape Town. I paid for the painting and we mutually decided to pay for an Express service (R7221) to courier the painting to the US, to get it there in time for my brother's birthday on the 9th October. The full amount was paid on the 3rd October, the painting picked up on the 4th October and we were told 5 to 7 days delivery time. With great anticipation I rang them today hoping to find the painting in the USA about to be delivered, only to be told that the painting is still sitting in Cape Town. I emailed the owner Rob Muller and received the following response "The file has been handled in the correct manner and the time frame you required was not realistic considering the above timings". That is not the point, the point is that it is now the 4th working day with no option for it to get there in the next 3 days. And the solution?? We'll throw our toys and "uncrate the artwork, return it back to yourself" not anything like we apologise and will refund your money and still send the artwork. This is the second incident with this company with artwork (March 2010 Reference A12408). Please stay away from these cowboys
