BRAND NEW POLO VIVO PROBLEMS

Polo vivo: purchased brand new at Hatfield VW Braamfontein. Car sent in for a service at 14 000 km on 08-08-2013 to VW Hyde Park. Cracked sump found- diagnosed as a factory fault. No courtesy car provided - left without a car over the long weekend. Car overheated in traffic on the 06-09-2013. Car sent in to VW Constantia on the 07-09-2013. The software was upgraded and the thermostat changed yet no cause was found. Car returned on the 17-09-2013. Heard a knocking noise on the car that same day and the day thereafter. Car returned to VW, told that it was not a safety concern but that the car would be booked in on the 30-09-2013 to source and fix the problem. Told that a loose body part was found. Sent to panel beaters - problem still not solved. Then told that shock mountings were changed, noise still there. Courtesy car provided during this time. Courtesy car overheated in traffic. Called VW Constantia who advised that roadside assist would be there soon. Sat for 2.5 hours on the side of the road. No courtesy car available but a rental car would be provided but was asked to pay fee for rental car to be delivered to me. Had to argue, swear and threaten in order for VW to bear cost.
