We sold a vehicle to Wingfield Motors. The transaction was handled by Sam. The bank's settlement figure was lower than the agreed selling price. Wingfield settled the bank (they had to, otherwise they couldn't on-sell the vehicle to another client). We've been unable to extract the balance of the purchase price from them, notwithstanding various e-mails and phone calls. It's been months now.
If they're so dishonest when it comes to agreements, should one be buying second-hand vehicles from them?
