I ordered a gift for my wife's birthday from Hermanus and RAM picked it up to deliver to me in Johannesburg. It was due to be delivered yesterday (20th September) but when I tried to track the parcel yesterday afternoon all that came up was "unsuccessful delivery - vehicle hijack". I phoned the customer care service and when I gave them my tracking number all they said was "it appears to have been hijacked". When I enquired what happens now they replied that "someone would contact you". I must say it sounded very dubious. Well nobody has bothered and there is nowhere on their site that you can send an email to anybody. There is obviously no concern for you property from their side. I never use RAM but use DHL but the supplier who was sending the goods chose them. I or my business will never use them again. So no gift for the wife on her birthday - thanks RAM.
