General Motors South Africa
Damages to Brand New Vehicle (Latent Defects)

I purchased a brand new vehicle in February 2013 but since day 1 of the purchase I have been running up and down to the dealer and even escalated the problem on two occasions in a six month time frame to GM head office but nothing has been done.
The service I received was poor and the after sales is below standard terrible. The car has had two parts replaced, smash and grab replaced, drained off oil, smoked, smash by the dealer, rattles, losing constant power and rolls as handbrakes are bad. Over the past months I have no idea how many times ive called to book in the vehicle and had to wait a week or two to take it in and they keep it for 2-3 days at a time and never gave me a courtesy vehicle to use as they keep advising that its subject to availability.
The vehicle is now a rattle box and is embarrasing driving this Opel Astra around as it sounds so bad and I have no idea what to do and would just like them to take this car back and give me my money!!!
I have to constantly call and plead to have this car looked at and am never given anything in writing and the car has never been 100%.
All I want is my money back so I could invest in a better vehicle and better dealership!!!
