On 27 August 13 I signed a Purchasing Agreement and the TATA Xenon was delivered the same evening with half inflated tyres, dirty and with the fuel warning on, and they left with my vehicle as a trade in.
The 3 days following delivery I found at least 25 defects and 8 missing items including the Maintenance Record Book, Owners Manual, missing Coolant Cap and Engine Fan Assembly adrift (Road Worthy and the Imperial 100 point check?). This made buying the vehicle a huge mistake. I returned the Monday 2 September to cancel the agreement (in the 5 day limit) told by the Sales Manager it would be repaired -would phone me the same afternoon. After 3 mails -no response or feedback.
Sunday 16 September I mailed him expressing concern about his business ethics, that I see the offer to repair in bad faith due to him not responding for a further 2 weeks to my previous mails. He mailed me and I notified him I will meet him at 12 at the Dealership He was not there. The loan vehicle supplied was a worn down Daewoo Matiz sounding like a diesel vehicle. Also took photo's. I declined the loan vehicle. I want to return this vehicle as I do think the repair will be the same bad service.
