So I purchased a black Golf GTI 2.0T FSI from diepriver imperial select multi franchise the vehicles timing chain needed replacing because of a loud rattle from the engine bay. I took the vehicle in after much hassle and the repair was carried out 3months later. When I received the vehicle back the noise was still present. I then decided to book my vehicle at barons VW tokai for a diagnostics which I paid for. Cars report came back stating that the timing chain was never done and that a pcv valve needed replacing. Spoke to the manager of the franchise Mr T. Van Rensburg he said I should bring the vehicle in so that they can take it to their own mechanical guys called Petes Mechanical and then take it from there. So I call T. Van Rensburg (manager) today when I returned from a week at sea. He got all rude on the phone sayin he drove the vehicle there's nothing wrong with it, he's not going to fix it and when I asked can I get a copy of the diagnostics I was told they don't give copys. Tried calling the Dealer principal today couldn't get him in. Will not recommend anyone to purchase vehicle from them, very poor after sales service.
