I would like to warn owners of FORD and MAZDA vehicles when they take their vehicles to MENLYN FORD to have their vehicles serviced. Please check as far as possible that the work was actually done as stipulated.
I took my new FORD Ranger LDV in for a service and to fix the fuel flap. They did not fix the fuel flap, they did not even clean the airfilter, what to say replacing the element. I do not know if they actually drain the oil but they did not even fit a replacement oil filter cartridge. This I only discovered on the next service at Human Auto in Bloemfontein. Human Auto informed me that Menlyn Ford did not replace the Airfilter and that the oilfilter catridge was completely missing. Human Auto also fixed the fuel flap during the service which took them under 3 hours. At Menlyn Ford they did nothing for the whole day.!!!
