I recently booked in my car at General Motors Cresta due to it having issues with the rear left wheel
The following are a series of events that occurred:
1.I was initially quoted a R6, 700.00 to fix the car or opt to be quoted a R599 for assessment (No invoice or receipt was given to even though I requested for it).
2.I was advised that the amount that I will be charged will be R6, 500.00 instead of the initially quoted R6, 700.00 when I went to the dealership the 2nd time (No invoice or receipt was given to even though I requested for it).
3.On the 4th my friend called me and advised that the car is fixed and ready to be collected, but I have been now quoted R7086.00, When I asked why I was advised that it was due to a part that that they initially quoted being out of stock and they had to use a part whose price was higher, NB: I was not called to authenticate this a decision was taken without my concern was taken.
4.When I eventually talked them into taking the money because I was running late whilst driving the car to work the same issue was happening on the rear left wheel.
