My boyfriend went to the Caltex in Wierdapark to fill the tank with R50 on Tuesday as the petrol price would be less on the Wednesday. After paying he turned on the ignition and the gauge did not indicate an increase.
My gauge works perfectly fine (I had my car serviced the previous day-I have proof). Worst of all, the same "paying for fuel but nothing in tank" happened before but I never mentioned it as I knew my car was due for service. We called Theresa on Tuesday to report the problem and complain. She said that she would investigate on Wednesday and report back to us on Thursday. We have not recieved any feedback.
