I purchased a car (Corsa 1.4 Colour Edition) at Eagle Canyon Auto General Motors in Cresta through a tradein.
I did the trade in of a polo vivo 1.4 for the corsa on the 31st of July 2013. Prior to me finalising the deal I kept asking the finance lady Liza Koen who I was working with if I had to pay the polo vivos instalment due to the fact that I did the trade in closer to the due date of the instalment. She advised me that I would have a two month break from paying car instalment and my first payment would be in September.
On the 1st of August I sent her an email asking her if the polo vivo had been settled because I received a statement stating I need to pay the instalment and she did not reply. I then again sent another email on the 19th August after I received the new cars statement stating that they will be deducting on the 26th, asking her what is going on because we had agreed that I start payment in September.
She said to me that she will fix the problem because she had clearly stated with wesbank that deduction was in September, she then also advised that the problem is with wesbank.
I contacted wesbank and they told me they do as dealer instructs and the instruction they
