The Merc I took a delivery of, approximately 10 months ago has broken down. It is worth mentioning that it was sold to me for more than 250 K and am repaying my financing institution 5 K per month. For that price tag, one would expect to have bought a car that is still in an emaculate condition. well, unfortunately it is not the case in this instance as the Delta Autoland in Silverton (Pretoria) sold me a car which I am now expected to fork out 35 K to get it running. I would not want to be unfair to Anton (General Manager) as he promised to look into the issue and see what it can be done on their side to reolve the problem.
I am putting this issue here to warn my brothers and sisters out there who are in the market for the cars that they must be very careful. Seeing that my issue has got the general manager's attention, I believe that the positive response is forthcoming and will soon let you all know how it went so that you can also make an informed decision when you shop around.
