My Chery Tiggo car keys were in March this year. I went in physically to Chery Randburg to order a new set. After about two months I still had no feedback. I phoned through to place the order again. I would follow up about once a week, but the standard answer was the part they need is on back order. I stopped phoning about two months ago after nothing was happening. I went in to Chery about a week ago to see what was going on. They said they now had the part. I took my car in the next day so that they could code everything. I got a call in the afternoon to say that they still did not have the right part. My original quote for the job was R1300. I asked if I was going to get a discount as it was now five months later. I was assured I would. When I checked today they were going to charge me the full R1300. Before I went back to Chery last week they had not phoned me back once in five months to give me an update. I always had to call them. I also phoned in to their customer care who said they would follow up on the matter. I am still waiting for them to phone back. My car also sat at a panel beater for 7 weeks earlier this year as that is how long it took them to get the part.
