Kindly advice on the issue, I bought a Chevrolet utility bakkie 1.4 base from Williams Hunt Emond Auto Durban in March 2013. Two days after collection of the car there was smoke coming out of the car while driving the car. I took back the car to them to access it. They phoned me and say something was loosen and has been fixed.
When my car was due for service at 15 000km I took it to Williams Hunt Durban (Old ford road) I requested that if they see anything wrong with the car they must inform me telephonically so that I will give them authorization whether to fix or not and nobody phoned me. When came to collect my car I was told that clutch was starting to slip and I was advised not to worry I must drive and see. Two days from there my car got stuck in the road and towed to them for repairs. I paid R6300 cash to them after repairs was done. Three months down the line and iI had similar problem with my car off which I know my driving is not bad.
Two weeks they holding my vehicle and I decided to launch a case with General Motors (GM) so that I can get the reason what cause the failure. I requested a courtesy vehicle for time being and was not provided. They on
