Charged Twice - Rude Manage

I purchased some goods at 05h07 on Sunday the 20th of January 2013.

I used my Cheque Card to pay, however the speed-point printed a slip that said: "Declined By Card". Funny though, because I received a SMS from Standard Bank saying R46.00 was deducted from my account.

So instead of putting the cashier on the spot, I withdrew R100.00 cash from the in-store ATM (with the same card), and paid cash for the goods. I told the cashier I will take the matter up with the manager.

I returned on Monday, and spoke to the Manager (a Caucasian male) - who I gave my cash receipt to and declined credit card slip to as well. He was occupied with another matter, and I had to rush into town, so I told him I will be back, and left the documentation with him.

I returned on Wednesday, assuming the matter would be resolved and I would be compensated. But I had to deal with a Caucasian lady who was absolutely rude, condescending and likely thinks she is above others. She also referred me to ATM Solutions.

I find this level of treatment very disturbing - I will avoid using Total from now on.

Keep the R46.00 lady, buy some manners - most importantly, please don't contact me - you had your chance.
