ON 29/11/2013 I swiped my cheque card, I wanted to withdraw R1500.00 and purchased goods for about R180.00 to my surprise I was told the card declined. I just paid for the goods I bought and withdrew cash from the STANDARDBANK ATM. I realized that the money they said didn't go through was off my account. i called and informed the branch and i was told to come with my ID and bank statement. went back Sunday and we struggled to see the manager as she was busy and couldn't see us. we had to communicate through a lady who works at the money market.she told me i have withdrawn and i should check with the bank, i don't know how cause i had my bank statement with me, the cashier confirmed that the card declined. After spending more than an hour at Shoprite the "busy" manager decided to come talk to me and told me its not reflecting i must come check on Monday and IF it shows they will give me in cash. i called today today i received attitude and was told to consult my bank and draw a new statement. i don't think she is aware that bankstatements are not for free. she didn't even want to give numbers for head office. Got assisted at head office by Ivy ill see after 7days.
