My vehicle had a minor accident mid June 2013, after nearly 8 weeks of struggling with disappearing Brokers. Assessors that do not let you know what is happening, making promises and then ignore that you exist or any such discussions have taken place. Total lack of service, bad workmanship and faulty spares from this Santam designated panel beater. Kevin at the panel beaters was verbally abusive and told me I was basically a and that all damage had been caused by wear and tear.
I have basically had to do all of the work and running around myself as well and am now out of pocket by R18, 529.15 as I had to pay cash to get my vehicle back from Mercedes Benz once they had corrected all that had been so called done, swapped out or repaired by these panel beaters. How can a so called refurbished good second had part have so much play that the steering on the vehicle was dangerous, obviously refurbished and spray painted black with no Mercedes identifications on it? This is not service this is!!
