I was in the prosess of buying a truck through a supplier who was not conducting the sale very well so i went to see Fred Bank with regards to a new truck. I Put down a deposit of R5000.00 on one of freds trucks with the conditions that fred would hold this truck for me until i could get my money back from the other supplier and pay for the truck using that money, but with the threat of legal action, the other supplier fixed the truck i had payed for and i got my truck with no problems. i then made Mr Bank aware that the other supplier had given me my truck and invited him around to my place of work to view a few items that are up for sale to try and arrange a clean swap, my goods for freds truck. but the offer that Fred made me on my goods was too low so i declined the offer and requested my deposit back, which fred bank is refusing to do on the grounds that he could have sold the truck I made the deposit on in the time we were waiting for the first truck supplier to come to the party. i believe that it is unprofessional and unethical for Mr fred Bank to with hold my deposit from me.
