After paying Johann Behm's subcontractor R2000 to transport our Jeep to Stellenbosch, we asked for a quote to fix the Jeep before commencing the work. Silence for almost three weeks. We phoned three times and requested a quote with no response. Received an invoice of R52 000! An additional R6000 were charged for a second take-out of the engine for a missing part that were overlooked and were discovered after the engine started to overheat on a test drive. The Jeep went back 3 times for an oil seal leak which they replaced within our 1 year repair guarantee. After discovering droplets of oil, we phoned them after hours on a Saturday evening to get some advice but was met with swearing and verbal abuse. We checked the water and oil levels at all times. The seal broke again and we were once again met with a rude and verbal attitude. Apparent pressure test were done (no proof). After dropping off the car I drove 3km and left the car to be collected by JB again - funny sound. He drove it back to his workshop and discovered that the radiator was leaking despite the pressure test. Quote: R5600 to fix or the guarantee will be redeemed. Not happy customers at all! Still leaking oil!
