POOR SERVICE AND NON-EXISTENT GUARANTEE

I noticed signs underneath my car of an oil leak/s and asked Bosch Hillfox for a quote. A staff member was sent to 'inspect' the car, but after bending down and taking a quick peek under the car, he reported a defective rear end seal on which basis I was quoted R8030.00 for fixing the leaks and to service the gear box. The complete diagnosis lasted 3 - 4 minutes.

On 10/07/13 my car was 'fixed and I paid R8019.19 . Two weeks later my car was leaking engine oil and I took it back.. However, the service consultant flatly refused to repair the car under guarantee and undertook to fix the problem on condition that I pay for the parts. Because I was losing money not having my car, I agreed.

On 07/08/13 my car was 'fixed' and I paid for the parts. A few days later there was copious leaking from my gear box and on 14/07/13 I returned to have the car fixed under guarantee, but again the guarantee turned out to be meaningless because when I invoked the guarantee I was asked whether I expected even my light bulbs to be guaranteed.
