3 year Service plan not really 3 years

We bought a Daihatsu terios Aug 2011 at the time we also bought a service plan for " 3 years " for R7000 .
They told us it was valid for three years.

on 6 August 2013 we took in our terios for a service thinking that the service was covered by the plan.

the service department phoned me later that we had to pay R2000.00 for the service.

I almost fell of my chair i phoned them they told me that the service plan actually ran for the date the vehicle was registered which was 2010.

so i paid R7000 for nothing very expensive service.

i am very disappointed and upset at Daihatsu for the false information and been lead on.
