Daihatsu SA only good at lip service

My Terios Offroad is faulty and I have been trying for 5 months now to get Daihatsu to fix it properly but I just get lip service and promises but no action. For a new car it is extremely worrying that in its first 20 000km the shocks have had to be changed 3 times already and due for yet another new set yet nobody tries to determine why? The engine is also a problem with intermittent bad spluttering leaving us stranded every so often and petrol consumption double of what we were told it should be (can only get 350km out of a tank). When they did fix something it led to physical damage on the vehicle which I guess is another thing Daihatsu won't bother to try and fix. They keep promising to come back to me but rarely do. They have really spoiled the experience of buying a new car!
