Mitsubishi Motors South Africa
Excessive costs

Hello David Semenya
Many thanks for looking into my complaint and the offer of reduced labour costs for future repairs.
I understand the industry norm mark up.
This is all well and good but you have made no attempt to explain why:
1. Mitsubishi outsources to a private company to fit DDS units. (more expensive for the customer)
2.Why Mitsubishi doesn't have in house trained mechanics to do the job. (would be cheaper for the customer)
3.Why that company is allowed to charge those prices. (great for Mitsubishi's mark up)
4.If I can source far cheaper spares from Bosch suppliers why can't you guys and pass on the savings to the customer.
5. Why it's acceptable practice to smash a DDS component off the side of an engine.
At the end of the day David sadly it's all about the bottom line for Mitsubishi Sandton, revenues are down so the customer has to accept inflated charges? I still feel ripped off, R1500 vs /- R6000 for a spare, who wouldn't?
