Major car service not approved with no explanation

My car was due for a major service in the month of March 2013 but unfortunately on the 06 of March i had an accident where a driver lost control and drove into me. The insurance tried to get GM parts in south African with time but unfortunately they struggled for 2months to get the parts and have it fixed. For 2 months i could not get my car back from the insurance due to that General Motors parts need to be sourced from overseas.By the time i got my car back in 10 May 13 i was hospitalised for a whole month and i have the certificate with me. When i returned to work i see Reeds email asking me to come book in the car, i explain i was off sick for a month. The lady at Reeds asks me if i want to service in June or July i email back in July. Now I'm told that my service is declined due to that I'm late. When i explain the accident and hospitalisation Avis says that GM does not want to approve without explanations as to why? Please assist as no one is willing to help me.
