3 years after purchasing my car I get a flat tyre. Upon trying to swap it out with the "space-saver" spare, it doesn't fit. So I was stranded on the side of the road without a spare. Went to Ford Fury Midrand to let them know I was sold a car with the wrong spare, I was told nothing they can do about it because 1: I had 3 years to check it, 2: It will impact their bottom line if they swap it out for me. They can sell me one at staff price for R1500. So what have I learnt: Never trust anything Ford Fury Midrand tells you, and test EVERY part in your car to make sure its genuine. So when buying a car, remove a tyre and replace it with the space saver to see that it fits. The "AA-Test" they perform also cannot be trusted, because how do you miss that? The stereotype "Never trust a car salesman" is clearly the truth regarding Ford Fury Midrand.
