I arrived at the garage asked the attendant to fill diesel fuel and he filled unleaded in the tank.
I got home and the car went off, immediately drained the petrol for 4 hours and put new diesel with injector cleaner and went back, i spoke to Barry who said he is the manager he advised he will check the CCTV camera and if they were at fault they will sort it all out. He then asked another manager Maduka to sort it out with me and maduka said i should definitely get the vehicle to VW to get it sorted out, Then i went to VW they quoted me like R24 000 to get it sorted.
I then went back to maduka who said they think i should get it done privately which i then done and paid for which came out R4400 and i took the receipt to them. Maduka advised that he spoke to Roger Naidoo and waiting for some feedback. When i finally spoke to Roger Naidoo he advised me that they now want to do some checking around if they could have found it cheap to repair after the vehicle has been repaired and paid for.
Its been 3 weeks going on a month now and they only deciding to do something when all the time they done nothing. So i am now taking this further and going to my Lawyers and the Engen Ombudsman.
