I needed something to be picked up in Sandbaai and sent to PTA with "Next Day" service. I was told by an operator in Cape Town that if they had the proof of payment before 13:00 on Thursday, I would receive my parcel before 17:00 the next day (Friday 12 July). I rushed to the bank and sent proof of payment well before 13:00. At around 14:00 on Thursday I got an email from the operator saying that my parcel would only be picked up on Friday and delivered on Monday because the drivers were out of the area of pick-up. After I asked for a refund the operator explained that sending the parcel with economy service would cost more and take 2 days longer, I accepted that I had to wait till after the weeked. This morning (Monday 15 July) I tracked my parcel online and saw that it went out for delivery at 8:30. At 16:30 (8 hours later) I phoned the Centurion branch to find out if they were on their way and I was told that the driver was already back at the office and I will only receive my parcel tomorrow (Tuesday 16 July) I hope I do... So their Next Day service is a 5 Day service. Will never make use of this company again..
