Syd's Suspension Parts
Unnecessary replacing of car parts

I took my Peugeot 206 to replace the left lower control arm at Syd's Suspension. I was told to have both the left and right arms replaced & since we don't know much about it, we had it done.
They told me to replace the CV joints, and stabilizer links as it is seriously damaged. I told the guy the CV joints were done 2 months prior, and we don't have money to do the stabilizer links then. We took the car home, after the guy advised us against it because it's to dangerous to drive the car. It did shake & rattle
A month later we took the car back to Menlyn CV Centre where we had the CV joints done, and gave them the story, and asked if they could replace the stabilizer links as well. Wynand spoke to me the next day, asking why we want to replace the links as there is nothing wrong with it, all the bolts were just turned loose, and he fastened it for us at no charge, he checked the CV joints - did put some additional grease in, otherwise nothing wrong. Our humble conclusion: Syd's Suspension wanted to make money out of us by replacing car parts UNNECESSARILY, and why was all the bolts on the links lose? It could have been fatal. I spoke to Syd and he denied any such.
