My Audi A4 indicator light bulb blew. Approached AUDI Umhlanga a consultant from the service department had a look, advised me it would take an hour & half to sort out the problem & the cost to do this would be in the region of R950 - the cost for an hours labour. Shocked & horrified, not believing to replace a R6.50 bulb would cost me R950 (I'd already bought a bulb). Sadly no alternatives, advise or even support was offered. I left feeling disillusioned & apprehensive. On the spur of the moment called Audi Durban & was asked to bring the car in. Tuesday 25/06/2013, popped into Audi Durban, a service consultant had a look & advised he would have to take the vehicle in to open up the front section to replace the bulb. I paid R55.00 for the bulb, waited 20 minutes & drove out a very happy person. I'm very aware nothing gets done for free & was even willing to pay a "reasonable price" to get the bulb replaced but a cry for help gets turned away. Now you decide where you would rather go to for your next service. Two dealerships under 1 flagship & the service at Audi Umhlanga is THE CUSTOMER FOR EVERY CENT POSSIBLE COS WE HAVE A BUSINESS TO RUN!!!
