Tiguan engine check light came on while I was driving and said go to workshop, which I did immediately. They plugged the car into the computer which told them there was misfire and 4th coil was not functioning. They proceeded to tell me that I could either leave the car there for the weekend and they could maybe look at it on Monday or I could drive the car which I opted for as my car is used for my business which had all my business. Made an appointment and left and drove approximately 2km when the car shuddered forcing me to stop, left stranded. My husband then phoned Volkswagen East London to which he was told the manager would call him back, which he never did. My son then arrived and we slowly made our way back to the workshop. The service was shocking, and then when I requested a loan car as my business is operated mainly from my vehicle which is still warranty they informed me they had no loan vehicles and would not have any for the next week, to which I proceeded to tell them that there service is shocking and they replied if I am not happy i should take my car elsewhere (still under warranty). Unfortunately East London only has one VW Service Department.
