I purchased a used 2012 VW Polo Vivo from Zeda Car Sales Umhlanga last week Wednesday. I drove the car and noticed 2 things, a rattle in the door and flickering lights while the car was idling. I emailed the dealer the next day and he told me he would sort it out when I collected my license disc. I went back to the dealer on Monday and voiced my complaints about my new car - I must add that I paid extra for a service and maintenance plan. The dealer assured me that they would have it sorted out by the next day (Tuesday). Today is Wednesday. Barons has been sitting with my car since Monday. Now there is a story about the wrong part being ordered from PE etc etc. I am over it. This is a year old VW and clearly I have made a gross error in purchasing VW. I saw numerous complaints about Barons Edwin Swales on this very forum and felt nervous when I saw all the complaints - clearly my fears are being realised. Sadly I will be exercising my CPA rights and returning this vehicle and purchasing Toyota. I am not paying R115000.00 for a defective car, and then waiting 4 or 5 days for it to be repaired! I am a single mom and cannot keep relying on other people for lifts.
