I called VW 24hr support (too many times) to tow my vehicle to Barons VW Durban due to engine light coming on, advised this by standby technician (24hr call: 10:00am 24/11/13). Now it is Monday, and I had to phone (08:10am) in to find out whether my vehicle even arrived there or not, first being pushed from Peter to Paul to get a response. My car is there and there has been no forward movement whatsoever. Now I am out of a vehicle since I don't have a second one, and they will not provide me with a courtesy car according to the dealer. So now I am stranded. Usually Barons has top-notch service, so it is very disappointing to have to make this statement. The car is under maintenance plan AND warranty. I am more disgusted that I as the customer am having to put so much effort into finding out about my car. Response from Barons: We will get back to you by the end of the day. I will be walking home by the end of your work day. Thanks :(.
