Mercedez Benz doesnt honor their one year guarante

On the 21st of june 2013 i took my car to Mercedez Benz grand central motors branch in Midrand with a complaint that the windors switch was broken and therefore i could not close the windows. The service advisor first told me that they will charge me R695 for diagonising the car first which i agreed. They then called me an hour later to say the switch needs to be replaced to which i told them that the switch had been replaced less that a year ago so i still believe it is still under guarantee, the service advisor told me that the part was a replacement of the switch that i had bought earlier and therefore the new part was not under guarantee and so i will have to pay for the new part. I refused and said i want to escalate the issue to the manager but he could not provide me with the details of the manager. I then told tham i will collect the car and pay the R695 for diagonising. To my surprise when i collected the car, the windows were open and i feel they just wanted to punish me for not wanting to buy a new part. I was very dissapointed with this kind of service which is totally different to the serveice that i got from Mercedez benz in Cape Town.
