Volvo SA has no idea how to treat customers and no clue on the impact they have on people's lives and livelihoods. My vehicle has been at Volvo Umhlanga for 5 weeks this Friday, with no end in site. Firstly I was told that 99.9% guaranteed if they replaced a part and flushed the gearbox I would have my car sorted. 2 weeks later I was told that didn't work, & I needed to get a new gearbox which would take 10 working days to get to them. They said they would fasttrack it due to the fact that the car had been with them for 2 weeks already. 10 working days to the day the part arrived in JHB, not Durban, so much for fast tracking. I was then told that it would only get to Durban on the Wed and they would then only schedule to work on the car. I completely lost the plot & they said they would see what they could do. Still no offer of a loan car or an apology for the inconvenience. I got a call on the Tuesday midday to say the part had arrived & they had been working on the car all morning. Today I got a call to say that they had sent the wrong part and would need to get a new one (another 2 weeks). THE VEHICLE IS MY BUSINESS!!! I love my Volvo, but won't buy another one!
