Ford
RADIO CODE COST

What a rip-off. I purchased a second-hand Ford Focus and one of the MOST OBVIOUS QUESTIONS I WAS SUPPOSE TO ASK WAS - WHAT IS THE CODE FOR THE RADIO.
I had the battery replace and now the radio needs a code to be able to work again.
surely the original dealer should write the code in the radio handbook and explain that THIS IS A VERY EXPENSIVE CODE. if you loose it a dealer will ask you R300 to check the VIN number and give it to you
it must obviously take soooooo much brain-power that is why it would cost sooo much. Not a service - come in M'am and we will verify that the radio is in fact still in the same vehicle and that you did not it and we will check it up on our system. to much to ask???
totally amazed in this technological world of ours.
