On 5/3/2013, I needed a letter delivered in CT, signed returned to me in Jhb. A colleague gave me a Globeflight waybill with their contact details on it. I called Globeflight requested a quote. They asked what my account number is, which I provided. I was told that the cost would be R69.43 x 2, which I immediately accepted. I was provided with quote number 0126661 collection number 0427397. A gentleman from Globeflight collected the envelope later the same day and the following week they delivered it back to me. All good until an account from Aerospeed Couriers arrived, showing that I owe not the R138.86 anticipated but R649.82. I have no idea how my dealings with Globeflight resulted in me being invoiced by Aerospeed Couriers, however I paid the R138.86 I believe I owe. Aerospeed Couriers insist that I pay the full R649.82 and have handed the matter over for collection despite me never dealing with them. I now find out that our acc no is for Aerospeed but surely then it was up to Globeflight to tell me to obtain a quote from Aerospeed and not them, as they only have a working relationship between them. I only dealt with Globeflight would like answers from them.
