My car was hail damaged in October 2012 and booked in for repairs at Danmar in November 2013. The car was at their premises for a month without any work being done and no parts being ordered for the vehicle. I took the care home over the Christmas break as the workshop was not operating in any case. I returned the car to the workshop in January 2013.
It is now 6 months since they have had the car. It took until April for them to order any parts for the repair. The incompetence has continued throughout this process, including a 3 month delay in getting a courtesy car. Today they promised to deliver the car but somehow I call back now and the car needs to be re-polished due to yet another bungling on their side.
Danmar have wasted my time, wasted my money in phone calls trying to get some movement from them and inconvenienced me way way beyond what is acceptable.
I am contemplating reporting the car as they have simply taken possession of my car without any intention of doing the work they were required to do.
