I purchased a car from the used vehicle department at Audi centre Umhlanga, the car that I bought was 2009 1.6 ford fiesta titanium. When I purchased the ford I took an extended warranty which costs R9646.99 and a paint protection which costs R7968.60, till this day I have not seen documentation with regards to paint protection, and the extended warranty documents was only given to me after 2 months. The reason the salesmen gave me for not having the documentation, 'there is a lot of paper work involved'. The excuse for the paint protection documents is that the finance documents were incorrect. Which clearly stated (paint protection) and the salesmen explained to me that this policy will cover me in event of my vehicle getting scratched or bent, the vehicle will be repaired. The current situation is that I have paid R7968.60 for polishing the car and there is no paint protection policy. If I was told that I'm paying close to R8000 for polishing my car I would have told him NO WAYS. Who in their right mind pays R8000 for polishing a car?
