Bought a car in December was told service after 6 months or 26000km whichever comes first. Car is still under warranty. My six months starts in June. So to be proactive I booked a service appointment. When I booked I was told because my car is a 2009 model not later models, my service intervals are 13000 not 26000. Consequently, I have to pay a penalty of R 2600 plus any additional consumables that may need to be changed because I am 4000k above the distance I should have travelled.

Was shocked to find out and Sales Manager says they told me! How convenient!
