Do They trick people into deals???

I went to Mccarthy Volkswagen witbank to look for a nice Polo. The sales excecutive (Tsepo) took my nr to inform if new onces came in. The next morning I've got a call from him saying they've got a nice 2009 Polo comfortline, but the km was a bit high (140 000). He sent me an email stating its a comfortline, 2009 model with 140 000km and pictures. I took of from work to go and have look and we decided to do the deal. He would arrange finance and I would organise the insurance. The next day he informed finance was ready and I got the insurance. Upon looking at the insurance I've noticed they made a mistake and show its a 2005. I went to the dealer to find out what was going on as I was also suppose to collect the car. When I got there they just wanted me to sign, but I said no I first want to talk to the sales manager Philip. I explained to him what happened and that I also found the resale value of a 2005 is R51 000 and I feel they tried to trick me, and his response was only, sorry, but he can sell that car for R60 000. So now I'm whant to know where is the 2009 comfortline for R60 000???
