How do you repair a radio in a brand new car??

I bought a new Ford focus 1.6 trend with added trend pack from Ford Alberton on the 18-04-2013. Playings in the car I realized that there was something wrong with the radio it stops all cd's at track 7 and makes a clicking noise.
After owning the vehicle for just over a month I went back to Ford Alberton. Explained to the service department what my problem is after my salesman pointed in their direction telling me its their baby. The lady told me that I must bring my vehicle in when the relevant people are in to remove my radio. According to Ford Alberton they will send my radio in and it can take 4 to 6 working weeks to repair and if they can't then only they will replace. I then drove to Ford in Germiston and they recon 1 to 2 working weeks. They said they will give me a call when the relevant person is in and arrange for a date and time. No one from Ford not Alberton nor Germiston came back to me sins.
I would like to know is that how Ford take care of their paying costumers? I did not get the vehicle at a discounted price because of a radio not working. I feel that I bought a new car and would like a new fully functional radio too. The deal went through they got their money.
