Terrible customer service and damaged my vehicle

I bought a 2008 Chevy Aveo hatchback with 52000km privately in January, in perfect condition. Lately the car seemed to be overusing petrol so I booked it in. Thursday, I drove in 2 hours of traffic on the way to Reeds with no issue. On the way a family member called telling me there was a small puddle of liquid where I park. I asked Reeds if they'd check it out. Around 2pm I got a call telling me my radiator was totally shot and I would need to pay R4000 to replace it. I said no thank you, wondering why it had been driving fine that morning. I was told they didn't even bother looking at my petrol consumption beyond checking codes because they were "too afraid to run my car" and told that I should check the spark plugs myself -why couldn't they? I signed a form acknowledging that they said I shouldn't drive the car, because I assumed my car was in the same shape as when I dropped it off. A block from Reeds, my car started smoking violently and I had to leave it there. I had it checked by a reputable radiator specialist the next day. The only problem he found was a hole in my radiator caused by a STUCK THROUGH IT (I saw it myself). And my petrol consumption is still not fixed!!
