I took my Vuka X110 to MotoMia Durban Road branch where I requested a service: brake pad replacement, light bulb replacement and body panel replacements.
Raymond from MotoMia phoned me that week, informing me that I need a new battery as well, as it is old and needs to be replaced. Thinking that all will be sorted after that, I payed the account of R1250
After driving the bike for less than 30kms, I experienced my 1st break-down on the side of Voortrekker road going through Maitland. I checked oil levels and topped it up just to clear that from being a possible cause. Still NOTHING!
I phoned Raymond and explained the situation - he informed me that they will sort it out and their Cape Town (CBD) branch was going to transport the bike back to the repair shop. Only 2 days later was my bike removed from a parking lot in Maitland - how pathetic!
The next day, Raymond assured me that the problem was just due to overheating and that I should let it cool down if it stops again??? How does that fix my bike?!
I drove my Vuka home from MotoMia and it broke down within 15kms - so I took it back again! R200 later for add. repairs, my bike now has a cracked panel and drives 15km/h slower.
