Europcar Rosebank billed me

My car was written off and my insurance, Zurich got me a rental from Europcar for 30 days. When the matters with the car were not resolved after 30 days, my rental was extended for another week. I returned the vehicle on Monday 22 April 2013.
We did the normal check when I returned the vehicle and everything was ok.

2 days later i was billed just over R900 and when i called to find out what the billing was for, Jack, who was also the individual who checked my rental in and never once said he would be billing me; told me that he had no clue why I was billed and he would get back to me. I have called him several times since and he keeps avoiding me. He was supposed to call me everyday with an update on my money being reversed and he is adamantly avoiding me. This is an extreme inconvenience and really lack of professionalism on the part of a company as big as Europcar to money from their clients - especially when the rental was not hired under my personal capacity but hired by my insurance.

I am unimpressed and believe that Europcar, especially Jack from the Rosebank branch should be ashamed of treating a customer in this manner.
