While we were waiting for our food order at Steers Menlyn Retail Park earlier tonight, I ate a caramel dipped soft serve cone. When I started eating the cone section, I noticed that there was something rather hard and crunchy in the cone. I spit the mouthful out and there were particles that looked like hard black and brown pieces of chicken bone in the bottom of the cone! I took this up with the manager and he could not identify the substance. I asked if they kept the cones close to the chicken products. His response was that I should leave my name so that he could report the matter and that it was the supplier's fault. I still do not know what was in the cone. I am of the opinion that this matter should be reported to the health department. Shocking hygiene and nauseating.
